The healthiest food comes from the healthiest soils. At Fenimore Farm we work hard to work with nature to grow healthy animals in the highest welfare environments. Rotationally grazing livestock is climate positive, sequesters carbon, creates healthy mineral, energy, and water cycles, and grows happy animals in a low-input system.

We are passionate about feeding our family, friends, and neighbors the highest quality foods and making positive contributions to our community and environment. We are excited to share our life’s journey and mission with you!

FAQs

  • We manage our land and animals in the most natural way possible, with low inputs and in concert with nature. However, we are not certified organic.

  • Currently all meat is available on-farm or delivered locally. Contact us at (518) 265-2658 or email at fenimorefarmNY@gmail.com to schedule your purchase!

  • At this time, we do not sell lamb by the cut. The best price for the customer is by the whole or half animal. This is because the processing is far less expensive. We are happy to make the processing arrangements, walk you through all the different cuts available, and arrange a simple and easy pick up or delivery!

  • Yes! Chicken and turkey is available both by the cut and as whole birds. Duck and rabbit is currently only available by the whole animal.

 

Ultimately, the only wealth that can sustain any community, economy or nation is derived from the photosynthetic process - green plants growing on regenerating soil.
